"Why do I even bother?!" yelled a frustrated Jack, a Dart Monkey. Some Pink Bloons had just passed him, and he had tried to pop them, but alas, too fast. He had considered retiring from this job, and he had raked in lots of cash from it, but his brother, Alec, who was an a Apprentice, was also fighting the Bloon waves, and he couldn't bear to see his brother harmed in an way.

"Jack, take it easy. It was only two. I'm sure the monkey corps have will take care of them." Alec reassured his brother. "Though, you really should have upgraded to Super Monkey Fan Club by now." Jack sighed as a response. Alec had a good point, but Jack thought the green hoods the S.M.F.C members wore were ridiculous, and didn't like the fact that he, if he ever did upgrade, could change monkeys into Super Monkeys against their will, even if it would be beneficial to the city.

Just then, Sergeant Mosscop, a Mortar Monkey strolled up to the brothers. "Good afternoon, lads! What are you two disscussin'?" Jack gulped. He didn't want to tell in fear of Mosscop forcing him to upgrade. "We were talking about Twinkies, okay? Twinkies. Nothing suspicious, Sarge." Jack lied.

Mosscop scratched his chin, puzzled. "Well, okay then. Just remember- don't slack off! At ease!" He said and left. Jack folded his arms and smiled while Alec gave him a dirty look. He didn't like it when people lied, and when his brother did it, it was no exception.

"Why the hell did you do that?" Alec snapped. Jack yawned, unconcerned and unremorseful about his behavior. "Alec, you care too much about other people's actions. Lying sometimes has to be done." the dart thrower explained to his magical sibling.

The alarm sounded. "Alert! Alert! All monkeys, prepare for attack! M.O.A.B homing in!" Lots of monkeys, such as Dart Monkeys, Boomerang Throwers and Glue Gunners, locked and loaded their weapons. The M.O.A.B came in and everyone went full fire. Jack tossed trios of darts while Alec shot powerful bolts of magic and lightning, content on demolishing to the threat. When the blimp collapsed, four Ceramic Bloons popped out and everyone ran to keep up with them, firing all the way, and when only a single Red Bloon was left…nobody got it.

The bloon floated into town and lots of citizens screamed in horror. Luckily, a Monkey Corp got it. The brothers and the troops sighed with relief, knowing that for a little bit, they could rest easy.
