Summary: Misuzu's thoughts toward Yukito as she lays in Haruko's arms taking in her last few precious minutes.

A/N: Enjoy!

I know your here. I can feel your presence. Although you disappeared into the crow a while ago, I know you can still understand what is happening to me. The story is finally ending. My happiness has been achieved.

Do you remember the story you used to tell me, Yukito? The beautiful story about the girl in the sky that you were searching for for your mother. Remember when I first told you about my dreams?

Well, I had the last one. You told me what that means when that happens and I just want to thank you. Thank you for everything. You've been through everything with me during this summer. My happiness of a lifetime was put into this one summer and I thank you for that. I'm getting weaker by the moment.

I wish I could tell Mom just how much I love her but I can't find the words. My throat is closing up and I realize that the end of my life is near. I can feel my chest tense up and I try to reach a small hand towards the sky.

I hope the girl in the sky isn't lonely anymore. Nee, Yukito?

"Goal" I say as I reach Mom.

I can hear her yelling my name as I get ready to close my eyes for the final time. My legs have given out and I know that that was the last time I'm ever going to walk, the last time I see Mom, the last time I see the sky, the last time I see you, Yukito.

My breathing is getting hitched as I start to gently close my eyes. I feel my Mom's arms tense around my body and I can see her tears going down her face and falling onto me.

"Misuzu!" she yells. "Don't leave me alone!"

I'm sorry, Mom. I don't want to but I must. I have to go in the sky. The endless blue. I hope that we can meet each other again someday in the future.

"I was alone before!" Mom says. "Don't let it happen again!"

I wish you were here in your human form, Yukito. I have one thing to tell you before our final farewell to each other. I love you. I always have. You have always been one of my top people in my heart right next to Mom.

Now that I've said it, its time. I feel the wind on my face and I pretend that I'm in the sky spreading my wings for everyone. I didn't break the curse and I'm sorry for that.

I gently close my eyes as the wind blows once more. The last thing I see is your face. Yukito, I love you.

"Misuzuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!" Mom yells, with tears streaming down her face.

My spirit has left. I spread my big white wings and with tears in my eyes, I fly up to the sky. I got my wish. I can finally fly, I can see the ocean up ahead.

Sayonara, Mom. Sayonara, Yukito. I hope you both live long lives and know that I'll be watching over you. I love you both and I'm sorry for leaving you alone.

"I'm Kamio Misuzu!" she said cheerfully. "What's your name?"

"Yukito Kunisaki" he answered back.

And thus started a life longing, long lasting, bond between a boy named Yukito Kunisaki and the girl in sky, Misuzu Kamio.
