Angie lay back in bed, pretending to be asleep as she watched Peggy as she practiced. Sure Peggy didn't mind it when Angie watched her, but it was a game Angie liked to play. She would try to see how long she could watch Peggy before Peggy noticed she was awake. So far Angie was winning against the highly trained spy. Of course, Angie decided to go easy on Peggy today. She let out a little cough. Peggy turned around. "Oh Angie, I didn't know you were awake."
"Yeah, I just woke up," said Angie.
"You haven't been watching me, have you?" said Peggy.
"No, of course not," said Angie. "What's so interesting about watching you throw punches at imaginary enemies?"
"Can you throw a punch?" said Peggy.
"Of course," said Angie. "What kind of question is that?"
"Okay," said Peggy. "Punch me then."
"Are you serious?" said Angie.
"Yes," said Peggy.
"Alright, if you insist." Angie threw a punch, which Peggy easily blocked.
"See, you're punching all wrong," said Peggy.
"How am I supposed to punch then?" said Angie.
Peggy got behind Angie. "First you need to stand like this."
Peggy adjusted Angie's stance. "Jesus English. If you wanted an excuse to feel me up, you could have just asked."
Peggy forced Angie to stand sideways. Peggy then guided Angie's hands into place. "Okay, this is guard position. You need to keep your hands in guard position. This way you can defend yourself from someone trying to hit you."
"Makes sense," said Angie.
"Now throw a punch with this hand." Peggy pointed to Angie's right hand. "This is your backhand. Make sure the punch is eye level."
"Like this?" Angie threw the punch.
"No," said Peggy. "You're punch is curved. Your punch needs to be straight."
"How about this?" Angie threw another punch.
"Better," said Peggy. "Twist your hips. That's where you get your power."
Angie made the improvements. "Happy now?"
"Yes," said Peggy. "Try to hit again."
"Whatever you say." Angie threw a punch and again Peggy blocked her.
"Good," said Peggy. "You're doing much better."
"But I still didn't hit you," said Angie.
"Baby steps," said Peggy. "You just need some practice."
"Alright," said Angie. "Let's practice."
"Slow down," said Peggy. "Let's get some breakfast first."
"Great idea," said Angie.
