The snow falls lightly a blanket of beauty
Frost creeping up my window
Blue eyes looking in at my laughter
Longing for that laughter to be his own
The wind blows my hair calling, come follow me
And so I follow it to the location
To a glen that only exists in the mind
Childish laughter coming from a hidden branch
Hopping down from his high branch
Charming blue eyes that I want to see
Who is this spirit, this child, who is like me?
Why it's the one and only Jack Frost
The snow falls lightly a blanket of love
Frost creeping on my window
Blue eyes looking in at my joy
Longing for that joy to be his own
I look up into his eyes
Cautious and scared of what I might see
And yet when I look I see something unexpected
Eyes full of past pain and yet no fear
Loving and kind eyes
A guardian of the children from the nightmares in the dark
Trying to make them scream
A believe a fire in his heart
One child will always believe
Man in the Moon
Confusing and annoying
Silent for years then suddenly
A call to arms because of a threat
Pitch Black the Nightmare king
Snow days fall for Jack Frost's staff channels his power
A day off from school for the kids
Another day of fun for him
Kind and caring great with kids
The qualities of a guardian
Rebellious and yet knows the limits
It's the one and only Jack Frost
The snow falls lightly a blanket of laughter
Fern frost creeping on my window
Blue eyes looking in at my happiness
Remembering when he once laughed and still does
