Prims' POV of her Death
I hurry along the crowds. Somewhere Katniss is there trying to get into Snows mansion. I look around. Children everywhere with no one to help them. Some are crying, some too scared to cry. The crowd rushes by me.
I am looking for Katniss, but I can't find her. A child gets knocked down by a man, who yells "Sorry!" as he runs away. I go to help the child, when suddenly, a hovercraft appears above us.
"Guys! We have to get past!" I hear Katniss shout.
I don't worry about her as the parachutes rain down among us. Children are happy, expecting food and medicine. I grab one, hoping to find a bandage for this little boy. Next thing I know, I'm on the ground convulsing. It's like I'm out of my body. I am looking down on myself. I am caught fire, and kids are everywhere screaming and crying. The parachutes weren't like the ones in the Games, but instead they are bombs. I suppose that the Capitol brought them here to kill any rebels.
"Prim! Please say here!" Katniss says near me, but it seems like shes miles away.
Its true what they say, that your life flashes before your eyes before you die. I see my first reaping. Me getting called, Katniss volunteering. Her getting stung by tracker jackers, Katniss defying the Capitol, me crying with happiness. Katniss going back to the Games, and me knowing she won't come back. Her blowing up the arena. The bombings of District 12. Now I am back in my own body. Sounds are drowned out. Another wave of bombs erupt. My vision is blurry, and I slip into death.
