Night had fallen. He shivered as he waited patiently. Hopefully they would team up, try to find him. He'd been foolish to think he could handle this alone. Now he was all alone waiting for Death. He stiffened, feeling a cold breath on his neck. He smiled sadly. "We meet again, old sport." The world promptly faded to black.
[LINEBREAK]
It had been days. No late night calls. No loud yelling. No McDonalds wrappers. No proposals of giant robots. No quiet planning with Poland and Venciano. No smiles of sorrow and elation exchanged with Prussia. No verbal battles with Russia. Nothing from the superpower America. England watched quietly as this brunette he'd never seen before sat in America's seat. He and France exchanged glances and words while she conversed with Canada. She made eye contact with Prussia briefly when Germany called for order and they nodded. It was then that she stood and called for the meeting to commence. She explained that she was replacing America until he could attend—something about paperwork and politics—and continued the meeting. She and Prussia were the last ones out of the room. Prussia slipped out to obtain some information, but walked her to her car. She saluted him, and was on her way.
She was late the next day. At first it seemed normal of an American, but Prussia was on edge until she arrived. Her case was missing, her suit disheveled, and she was holding a shoe in her hand. She offered no explaination, and no one asked for one. Once the room was vacated, a distressed German voice raised above an equally distressed American one.
[LINEBREAK]
Anna-Lee Carter prided herself on her patience. But she was quite done with his shit. His twin brother goes missing, and he does nothing? Mother Ape-Ass. Too bad his assholery is too great for Toni, maybe he could have toted him along. But nooooooooooo,. His douchebagery is taking a toll on Anna-Lee. She decided she'd had enough. Time to call in the big guns.
"What the Ficken do you want; I'm trying to sleep here."
"I need your help."
"My help? Why?"
"An asshole needs a wake-up call"
"… I've just the stuff."
She was sure she could hear him laughing over the dial tone.
