Charles's POV
Playing around with mutants has never proven to be a good idea. Every time a mutant is played with like a toy, nothing good ever comes of it. Whenever one feels he can control the world using us, he always finds out he's wrong.
Except this time, it's different.
My old friend, Erik Lehnsherr, has rejoined me at my School for Gifted Youngsters to help me teach the many who cannot yet control their mutant powers. He is a very good teacher, especially when he's with the younger children. I suppose they must remind him of his young daughter, Nina, whom he lost in an accident. I know that since Pietro (who often goes as Peter) was enrolled at my school he has been eyeing Erik, just waiting for the opportune time to tell him that he's his son.
I have not told Peter that he has a twin sister. Her name is Wanda and she also attends my school. We have changed her last name so Peter doesn't get suspicious. I do not believe he is ready to know yet.
Jean has been having increasingly more nightmares. Hank has tried many times to calm her down but finds I am the only one who is able to successfully do that. Jean is about his age, and still very vulnerable since she is among those who cannot control their powers.
But I find that my newest student, coming from a financially-fortunate family, is the most intriguing. She has found a way to harness two completely different powers: she can summon any amount of water to her location, and she has found a way to get into blocked minds.
My mind, specifically.
