Dueling Dragons 3: The Final Revelation Chapter 1 Assault on the Ice Fang
Somewhere across a frozen sea, stood a vessel manned by half-beast half-human creatures and goblins. For sails, they had a skeletal looking dragon with long curving horns whipped to shape by one of the crew. Below the brig, a large toad faced dragon brought up from the swamps snapped at his feeders while being thrown large chunks of meat and hearing the horrible jeers from them. That dreaded vessel was "The Ice Fang", now in hiding since the defeat of their leaders: the dragons Razorthorn and Griffin. For almost a year it has been, Razorthorn was dead by the hands of the young prince Freyne now a king for he has married Aislinn, the princess of the Celts. Griffin, who attacked the kingdom of the East still lives but punished to have his own heart carved out and to live as a human for treason. Now, their remaining followers are in pursuit for their stolen cargo, slaves and hoards of treasure payed by their sponsors for aiding them in the planned rebellion against mankind. The "Fang" now remained silent as the cold atmosphere surrounded them, everyone was having their guard prepared. Among the crew, an orc wizard Galthran, not so recently released from his towering prison, thanks to an innocent misled dragoness. And in doing so, he had betrayed her, captured and sold for slavery, but his plans were foiled once she was rescued by that brave gold coppered dragon he despised. This thought made him more angrier that he retreated to the lower cabin for a bit of warmth straying away from the shouts hollered by the members and the roars of the captured beasts. He suddenly felt something, he was not alone. He looked at the wooden beams of the ceiling, but nothing. Then he turned back, surprised, frightened at the sight of a slender figure clad in crimson leather with a matching horned helmet.
"Did you miss me?"- the figure spoke
"Kira!" Galthran gasped as she grabbed him quickly by his vest. He was pinned to the wall with her mighty dragon strength. Then she removed her helmet to him glaring with her yellow green eyes.
As she was growling at him, he was trying to talk his way out: "Now please, Kira, my dear. You know there's a reason I did those things. Nothing personal against you. It was just good business."
Kira sneered: "Tell that to the others."
"You? Alone?" Galthran mocked
"What makes you think she's alone?" Another female voice was heard but clad in black.
The orc wizard asked at the other shadow as he trembled. The other black clad figure removed her fur hood to reveal golden locks. Her face was slightly tanned and had deep brown eyes.
"Deirdre, Princess of Kells!"
