Man's True Nature
'Tis true, that War is man's favorite toy
and Death his best mate.
Why, such a pair o' friends have ne'er been seen!
The smell o' blood follows wherever man goes
an expensive perfume bought with violence.
And too long, man has flied from Justice
That howling, relentless, hunts him.
But Justice can only pursue the living
and as the Dead Man walks again, a Sword is born anew
Stumbling as if blind, man follows only Nature's own truth
that the weak will die and the strong will live.
Flames dances around as a reminder o' the Devil's song,
in his mind, in his heart, in his soul.
The Swords shake a nation with war
following the code o' the Morningstar.
Heaven's Justice is dead and gone, a fleeting memory.
Dispassionate, the Dead Man cannot see the truth
that he was ne'er meant to be.
But the World is a cruel, fickle thing and 'meant to be' was ne'er real.

Quote of the week:
If we were to wake up some morning and find that everyone was the same race, creed and color, we would find some other cause for prejudice by noon.
