Renai wished for everything to go back to the days when Mihashi was back at Mihoshi Academy.

The days when he taught her how to have fun.

The days when he taught her how to love someone.

But then, she also wished for it to all burn away.

The days when Mihashi had come, crying in her arms.

The days when Mihashi was so overcome with depression.

And this tree was a memoir of all of those memories.

Engraved in its very core, the tree had an inscription:

"三橋廉

恋愛蜜浜"

Even if Mihashi had transferred, she'd find him somehow.

Mihashi…

Poor kid was practically sentenced to years of hell after what the junior high baseball team, mostly Hatake Atsushi, had done to him.

What my boyfriend had done to him.

I mean, Shuu-kun didn't do anything, but he didn't do anything about it.

Anyways, even if I break up with Shugo, the team could blame this on Mihashi as well.

All of the thoughts had consumed my mind as I had walked to the baseball field where the Mihoshi Academy team played. I heard many voices as I had slowly moved onto the mound.

"Renai!"

"Oh, R-renai…"

"Hey Shuu, Mihashi! Today's a beautiful day, huh?"

Their smiles were burned into my eyes. Worn on my hand was a baseball glove Mihashi bought me. He even signed too. Nearby was a baseball. So what did I do? I took it and just did what Mihashi had always done. I threw the ball, but emptying all my emotions into it.

CLANK!

Looks like I left a dent in the batter's cage. But hey, that's what they did to Mihashi.
