Feelings Best Left Forgotten.
She was becoming insane. Or at least, it seemed that way. How long had it been since she had last seen light? Felt the cool breeze of air? How long had she been here? Trapped in this small, dark and damp cell? She seemed to do that a lot lately- ask so many questions from herself. No one else was around anyways.
It was a coming home from a solo S-rank mission when it happened. When they appeared. Akatsuki. Itachi and Kisame. They put up a fight. She as well. Of course she did, she wasn't that weak little girl that depended on others anymore. She was Anbu. When years go by, people change. She changed. At twenty, she was a foe to be reckoned with. She, who had surpassed her sensei, Anbu captain, and head of Konohagakure hospital. She hadn't sensed them. Why hadn't I sensed them? She should have. I should have. Two against one, she hadn't stood a chance. Especially when she was already tired from her mission. They captured her unconscious body, took her and placed her in a cell. When she awoke she was chained to the wall and chakra depleted. How long has it been since then? Days, weeks, or months? Or maybe, years? I can't remember. The days just keep going by. Neither tell me anything. I don't ask either. I'm too afraid of the answer.
"Sakura" Itachi
No, not again. Please not again. Don't look into his eyes. Don't look. Don't look. Don't look. Shit. Not again.
