Hey, hey, hey! My best friend, Scarlet, wrote this amazing fanfic, and since she doesn't have an account, I published it on my account, but the story is fully hers!
Fear
*Kyoko's POV
Tears rolled down my face as I ran from the room, Ren calling out behind me, "Kyoko, wait!"
I ran out of the LME building and just kept going, my hand clutching "Princess Rosa" hanging off the gold chain on my neck. Why did my heart hurt so bad when I saw him locked in a kiss with another girl? There was only one possibility, I was in love. I couldn't believe I let myself fall in love again.
I only noticed at the last second that I was in the middle of a road and a car was speeding towards me.
*Ren's POV
By the time I arrived it was too late. I could only watch as the car rammed into her full speed.
"Kyoko!" I shouted running towards her. The car's driver, a young male, was looking at the girl apprehensively. When I reached her the boy was about to apologize, but I punched hard. I knew it wasn't the most rational thing to do, but when the girl you love is hit by a car, all rationality leaves you.
I put my hand on her neck on her neck to feel the pulse. It was beating, but faintly. She had lost a lot of blood. The paramedics were already arriving, an onlooker having called them.
They put her on a stretcher and loaded her into the ambulance, and after taking one look at me they decided to let me ride with her. I spent the whole ride clutching her hand like I was the one who needed a lifeline.
They rushed her into the ER, and I sat there waiting and waiting. Every moment moving as slow as molasses. When the doctor finally came out, he told me she was going to be fine, and all my fears were swept away.
I rushed into the room to see her; I took her hand and immediately started babbling. "Kyoko I don't know if you can hear me, but that kiss you saw didn't mean anything. She just kissed me on a whim. I was about to push her away when you walked in. I never liked her or loved her. The only one I love is you. Did you hear that? I'm in love with you, and only you."
"Really?" She asked weakly.
"Of course." I said grinning broadly.
"For not telling me you will have to do something for me."
"Anything!"
"Kiss me." She whispered. And I did kiss her, my arms wrapping around her, holding her to me tightly and securely. I would never let go.
