This is my first Warriors fic. I don't really know if it's right or not, because...well...heheh, I'm only on book three of the new prophecy. How do I know all this then? Well, it's called older sister who reads a lot. Read and Review please.

FYI, I don't own Warriors, Erin Hunter does.

Song: Learn to be Lonley (wich also doesn't belong to me) sung by Minnie Driver in "The Phantom of the Opera."

LEARN TO BE LONLEY, HAWKFROST...

Child of the wilderness
Born into emptiness
Learn to be lonely
Learn to find your way in darkness

Hawkfrost padded over to his sister Mothwing. She was busy collecting herbs for her stock. "Hello, Mothwing." he meowed. Mothwing looked at him and gave him a slight nod. "I met up with Brambleclaw, we'll be ready to attack soon." Mothwing didn't respond. Hawkfrost tilled his head. "Is there something wrong?"

"Why are you doing this?" she asked not looking up at him.

"It's what Tigerstar wants," Hawkfrost gazed up at the sky. "I'm just following in his paw prints. Don't worry Mothwing, everything will be fine." Mothwing glared at him.

"No, Hawkfrost. Everything will not be fine." Mothwing stood. "You're on your own now, I'm sorry." She gathered up the herbs she collected and padded back to camp. Hawkfrost flatted his ears.

Who will be there for you,
comfort and care for you?
Learn to be lonely
Learn to be your one companion

Hawkfrost couldn't believe his sister. He thought she would have been proud of him, but she wasn't. A strange new feeling suddenly hit his stomach, a feeling of doubt, and sadness. Was Mothwing right? Was his father's plan really going to turn out right? Or would it cost him his life? For once in his life, Hawkfrost wished he had someone to reassure him with his problem."Why do you torment me Tigerstar? Why?!" he yowled into the darkening sky. He laid down and placed his paws over his muzzle.

Never dreamed out in the world
There are arms to hold you
You've always known
Your heart was on its own

Hawkfrost felt something wet slide down his face and onto his paws. He looked at his paws. Tears?'Oh, stop being so mouse-brained!' he thought to him self. He sat up and started to wash his face. 'Everything will be alright. I don't need Mothwing anyway's. She's just a stupid Medicine cat. Nothing that great about that. Besides, I have Brambleclaw on my side, and when I become leader, she'll be apologizing to me about how she doubted me.' Hawkfrost chuckled at the thought of his sister begging for forgiveness for doubting him, but he wouldn't forgive her.

So laugh in your loneliness
Child of the wilderness
Learn to be lonely
Learn how to love life that is lived alone

"But Brambleclaw is a good cat, not like you." a voice whispered. Hawkfrost looked around.

"Who said that?" he demanded. "Show your self!" The voice laughed softly. "I'm warring you!"

"Hawkfrost, I am your fears. I am your doubts. I am your sadness. There is no way you'll win this. Brambleclaw will stay loyal to his clan, and you will end up...lonely, as how you've always been. Learn to be lonely, Hawkfrost."

"You're wrong!" Hawkfrost hissed. The voice chuckled then slowly faded out into nothing. Hawkfrost flatted his ears, fear starting to creep up on him. What if the voice was right? What if Brambleclaw betrayed him? Hawkfrost stared up into the night sky. He started to pad back to his camp.

Learn to be lonely
life can be lived
life can be loved

"Tigerstar," he murmured. "I hope this goes alright." And for the first time, Hawkfrost started to feel...

Alone.
