Sometimes, I was just so clueless when it came into figuring out what happens in Sirius' mind. Of course, I had always suspected him to be out of his rocker, but there was no way that I could've guessed how far his insanity actually breached. Was he mindless or something? I thought irratably as Sirius Black and I, James Potter, ran from the cops, AKA Aurors. Sirius actually had the nerve to laugh, and laugh he did. His stormy grey eyes were alight with excitement and happiness, his shaggy black shoulder-length hair flowing behind him. His laugh was infectious and it managed to break my wall of annoyance and exasperation. I cracked a grin and together, we outran the police, managing to shake them off once we headed in the dark alleyway Sirius and I used to play in while we were younger. We had jumped off a fence in the second narrowest path so that the police won't track us down easily and afterwards we had ran home. My own warm, hazel eyes raked our surroundings carefully, as if plotting an emergency escape or simply scanning the area. FInally we stopped near a small rundown building once we were sure we lost them.

I panted, my raven black hair cascaded down my shoulders like ink once we stopped moving. Sirius caught his breath next to me. It was almost dinner time, and I still can't believe Sirius had convinced me to actually with him to help him explore. Honestly, off-limits areas were off-limits areas. We all held the wall for support as the unfamiliar feeling of having bile rise through our throats as the adrenalin wore off kicked in. I groaned as I realized we were far off from home.

"S-seriously?" I managed to get out, sinking to the concrete street. "We almost got caught there!"

"Well, it was a very Sirius thing I did back there," joked Sirius breathlessly. "But on a more Si-grave note," Sirius hastily cut of himself when he was about to make the pun because of the glare James sent him. "But it was very fun!," breathed out Sirius, his firm hands fixing his clothes. I rolled my eyes.

Truth be told, if you looked at it from a different angle, it was quite exhilarating, I thought. "Sirius, I know, it was kind of different than are usual activities, but it was also dangerous!"

"Aw, but James! Don't be so cautious and sly or all that!" Sirius whined. I raised my eyebrow at "sly" but Sirius ignored it. "It was only an...experiment."

"A what?" I sputtered out, regaining my energy. I shook my head fondly. "Sirius, I love you and all, but one day you're going to kill the both of us."

"That's why you love me for it," Sirius wagged her eyebrows suggestively at me. My eyes widened and I slapped her at the back of her head.

"God, Sirius! Never, ever, do that again!" I exclaimed, reprimanding him.

"Whatever you say..." Sirius trailed off. I sighed.

"The things I put up with," I said, shaking my head again. "We better head home, mum will castrate us for this, you know."

"Well, all's fair in love and war..." Sirius said mysteriously.

"What was that?" I snapped, turning back.

"Nothing, Prongs. Absolutely, purely, nothing."
