No one had ever told him to visit Le Creuset's grave. He did it on his own.

It was rare enough for Mu to be in PLANT, and it seemed downright bizarre to see him in a ZAFT memorial cemetery. The war memorial was gigantic. There thousands of white tombstones, one to mark each ZAFT soldier who had fallen in the two Bloody Valentine wars. Mu shuddered, knowing that somewhere on Earth, his name was written on a gravestone like this, too.

The one marked 'Rau Le Creuset' was in the middle of the field's myriad of headstones. It showed no real signs of wear, though people had left their mark on most of the other tombs. Most of the graves nearby were covered in bright flowers, left behind by friends or family members who still thought about their lost children, parents, lovers and friends. Not Rau's grave – nothing was there. No one wanted to remember him.

It seemed eerily appropriate for a man who had never had a past, a present, or a future of his own.
