Harry could tell that he was sweating badly. He felt moisture under his arms and his back, beads were rolling down his face. He wasn't facing mortal danger, oh no, but something much worse.

As discreetly as he could, he pulled out his wand, giving it a wave towards his body. All the sweat left him, but as he saw a flash of fiery red hair come around the corner he felt the sweat begin, this time with a new fervor.

"Harry!" Ginny said when she saw him, a wide smile spread across her face. Harry weakly returned the smile, he felt like he was going to be sick.

Ginny jogged up to him, her hair swaying behind her. "Harry, why are you in a tux?"

Harry gulped, suppressing the urge to loosen up his collar.

Last minute thoughts ran though Harry's mind like hippogriffs. What if I don't do it right? What if she doesn't love me as much as I love her? What if she says no?

"Harry, what's wrong?" Ginny asked, concern on her face.

Before he could stop himself, Harry got down on one knee, taking Ginny's hands in his. Pedestrians stopped and gazed at them. Harry tried to slow down his breathing before he spoke, but he had no such luck.

"Ginny Molly Weasley," Harry began, Ginny's eyes filled up with tears. "I love you so much. I promise to love you forever and treat you like the beautiful woman that you are." Harry took in a huge breath. "Ginny, will you marry me?"

He took a small box from his pocket and opened it, revealing a gorgeous ring, a large diamond set in the middle, surrounded by peridots, Ginny's birthstone. If you looked closely, you could see a stag and a horse running together within the diamond, the forms that Harry and Ginny's patronuses took.

Ginny burst into tears of happiness. Unable to speak, she nodded.

Harry stood up and Ginny threw her arms around him. When she drew away, Harry slipped the ring onto Ginny's finger, and if magically shrunk to fit onto her finger. Then Ginny, tears continuing to flow, pulled Harry into a kiss, and as she did so, the onlookers broke out into applause.
