Disclaimer: I do not own Pirates of the Caribbean, Elizabeth Swann or Captain Jack Sparrow, but if I did I'd be one very happy girl

Wake me: A poem by Love Inc., Jack & Elizabeth, Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, & 3

Amber orbs that pierce my soul,

A heart of gold that makes me whole,

Flowing platinum blonde curls, like goldilocks,

Remind me of the day we met by the docks,

Your spirit is wild and untamed,

Locked up inside you simply would not be the same,

You taught me a song, which I now love,

Sent shivers down my spine when you gave me a hug,

Stuck on an island with you one day,

Broke my heart when you went away,

But when you came back to me,

Once again you were alive and free,

Curious as you are to know what its like,

Perhaps you should give your soul a chance to take flight,

You fought with me, by my side,

And believed I was a good man,

Understood me the way nobody else can

You told me our worlds could never combine,

And then your sweet lips collided with mine,

If only I could make you see,

How alike we are, you and me,

It is because of you that I have seen,

What a cowardly fool I have been,

But you see, no longer can I run,

I cannot end what has already begun,

A golden smile, I was not meant to see,

A kiss that was not meant for me,

Your voice, like an angels' not meant for my ears,

Now makes me cry lonely tears,

A forbidden love that I can no longer hide,

Rules between our clashing worlds to which I must abide,

Bewitched me as you have,

As delicate as a rose, as pure as a dove,

One thing that you must know,

Is that you are the only one who I can ever love,

A spirit like yours, so wild and free,

Wake me up the day you come back to me.
