Girl Bonding Time

Allura and Pidge stood in a small room together. Pidge was busy typing away on a keyboard next to an electronic device.
"Nothing seems to be wrong with it," Pidge said, perplexed.
"About that... we never get to have some bonding time as girls! I was hoping we could use this as an opportunity?" Allura put on her most winning smile.
Pidge sighed, hands falling to her sides away from the device she had been trying to diagnose, "This thing isn't even broken, is it?"
"Sorry. It's just with everything being so busy, I thought it was the only way I could get some alone time with you." Allura had one hand raised in front of her in a gesture begging forgiveness with her face in a sheepish expression.
"You didn't think to just ask?" Pidge asked, one eyebrow now cocked up and arms crossed.
"Would you have come?" Allura countered.
"..." Pidge knew the answer was probably no, but she was trying to find a tactful way of saying it.
"Your silence is all the answer I need. C'mon, Pidge! You're the only other girl in the castle. Please?"
Pidge sighs exasperatedly, resigned to her fate, "Fine. What do you have in mind?"
"This is freaking awesome!" Pidge whooped with joy as she and Allura jumped from the top of the castle-ship.
"Yahoo!" Allura cheered.
The two were free falling, reveling in the adrenaline spike as they hurtled towards the ground. At the last second, they turned their jet packs on, enabling them to rise up and control their landing to the ground.
"That was so much fun!" Pidge wiped the sides of her eyes, having laughed herself to tears on the decent.
"I know, right?!"
"If I had known that's what you had in mind, I wouldn't have hesitated at all," Pidge admitted.
Allura smiled, looking down at the shorter girl, "Pidge, I wouldn't ask you to do anything you wouldn't find fun. I know you aren't the girly-girl type. If I had wanted to do a spa day or something like it, I would have asked Lance."
Pidge smiled. It seemed like the Princess did pay attention. She supposed it had been a long time since the first time they met. She couldn't imagine the Allura from back then letting loose like this.
"Want to go again?" Pidge asked.
"Of course!"
The two then took off in a run towards the castle-ship, eager to get back to the top and do it all over again.
