WOW! It's a story! That's NOT Tokka! Wow! It's a Christmas miracle! Zuko hates me, so he's a little OOC in this story. Sorry. :/ Expect another Tokka story soon, where the Gaang visits a bath house.

"So, Zuko, I hear you said no to your thirtieth wedding proposal. Congrats." Zuko turned as he heard a low female voice talk to him, and he found himself looking into the pale eyes of a blind Earthbender. "Why don't you just marry one and get over yourself?"

Zuko scowled, his dark hair falling into his eyes. Even though he was royalty, he kept his hair long and shaggy like when he had been in disguise as an Earth Kingdom refugee. "It's not about me."

"Then who?" Toph asked casually, and sipped her drink.

"A girl." Zuko's voice was sober, almost sad in it's deep tones.

The girl's unseeing eyes widened in surprise. "A girl? That hasn't proposed to you? I didn't think there were any left! Who is she? Do I know her?"

Zuko shrugged, and his golden eyes trailed out to the dance floor of the reception room. The figure of a dark-skinned girl caught his eye. "I guess so. Everyone knows her." It was true. She was an ambassador for the Southern Water Tribe, it was her job to make sure everyone knew her.

"So what's she like?" Toph questioned, and she turned in the direction that Zuko was facing. Even though she couldn't see the people there, she had an idea of which woman he might be talking about.

"She's beautiful. But I like her eyes the best. They change with her moods, even though they always stay the same color. The same beautiful, light blue. When she's mad they spark, and she gets this determined look on her face. Even if she knows she's outmatched, she doesn't give up without a fight. She – "

"That's good, because if she gets married to you, she needs to not back down from fights," Toph said with a snort, and drained the contents of her cup.

Zuko squeezed his cup with a little more force than was necessary, and his face twisted into a scowl. "She's kind, though. She wants to help people. Sometimes she trusts people that she shouldn't, though. It makes her get into situations that she shouldn't be in." A wry smile came to his face. "Once I held her captive on my boat."

Toph laughed, and shook her head. "I forgot about that. I wasn't traveling with her then. Anyway, I like her brother."

A look of surprise crossed onto Zuko's face, and he fumbled to not drop his cup of water. "Wh-what? Who's brother?"

"Katara's." Toph said, scoffing as if it was obvious. "That's who you were talking about. I think she likes you, too, just so you know. She had a crush on you when she was traveling with the Avatar. I think I'm going to go mingle a little. Good luck with Katara."

With that the Earthbender disappeared into the crowd of people, and her visit left the Fire Lord with a smile on his face.
