Wedding Roses

An oneshot that is the result of five Red Bulls and my boredness at 12:21 AM

Soo…enjoy (:

As I walked down the aisle on Carlisle's arm, I started thinking about what I was about to do. This was what I had been wishing for forever. The man at the end of the aisle smiled at me lovingly and I grinned sheepishly back. I thought this day would never come. No, not just my wedding day, but the happiest day of my life.

He was the man that stumped into my life on accident, but had stayed on purpose. He was the man who didn't see my beauty as a prize, or as the only I was good for. To him, my beauty was a bonus to everything else that was me. Sure, before I had had many suitors who claimed that they didn't care…but they had complained when I did something different with my hair or whatever. No, my beauty had to be untouched.

We finally reached the alter and I turned to Carlisle, who kissed my cheek.

"Congratulations sweetheart." He smiled at me. Carlisle wasn't my real father, but he was the closest thing I had ever had to a father, so it didn't weird me out when he called me sweetheart. Carlisle clapped my fiancé's shoulder and went to stand with Esme.

He smiled down and me and offered me his hand, which I readily took, and walked with him up to the minister.

"Dearly beloved," the minister started, "we are gathered here today-"

I'm sorry to say that I tuned the rest out. But if you have ever seen or met the man I was about to marry, you'd understand why.

Emmett was more then just the man I was marrying. He was my soul mate, my perfect match, the peanut butter to my jelly, if you will. His words, not mine. But his silly humor is only one of the many things that made me fall for him in the first place. It was everything about him that made me fall for him.

He was exactly what I needed. And by some miracle, he needed me too. I was sure that I was the luckiest person alive…or un alive. Let's just say I was the luckiest being on earth.

"Emmett, do you take Rosalie to be your wife, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?" The minister asked Emmett.

"I do." He said, grinning down at my. I felt a light pressure on my hands as he squeezed them and I squeezed back.

"Rosalie, do you take Emmett to be your husband, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?" I couldn't help but give a big smile.

"I do." I sighed, happily. The minister closed his book and smiled at us.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss your bride." He said to Emmett.

Emmett cradled my face in his hands and leaned down to kiss me. Our whole family clapped as we finally broke apart.

I was right. It was the happiest moment of my life when I walked down that aisle with Emmett.
