"Aang you need to hurry Zuko is catching up!" Katara yelled frantically at her friend Aang, her best friend, and the future avatar.

"Appa is doing the best that he can!" replied Aang.

Katara, Aang and Sokka had just left the crescent shaped island in the middle of the fire nation. They had surprisingly made it out of there without being captured. Now they were back on their way to the North Pole and thing were looking bad.

"Fire ball at 9:00" Sokka yelled.

"Hang on!" replied Aang.

Down on the boat in the captain's quarters: "Zuko why are you chasing the Avatar west when we know that he has to learn waterbending and therefore has to go to the North Pole."

"Uncle please let me do this my own way!" Zuko replied with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"All I'm saying is that it would be easier to head north and set a trap for him at the North Pole."

"If you all will excuse me I need to be alone." Zuko got up and left deep in thought.

"If I go to the North Pole now the Avatar will think I have given up and will certainly head north as well, but if I make him think that and I go out alone and follow him in a boat he wouldn't think I was in I might be able to capture him without him knowing what is going on."

"Prince Zuko?"

"Huh….oh yes captain."

"We lost the Avatar sir"

"WHAT?"

"He disappeared behind some rocks near the Earth Kingdom shore line."

"Well that doesn't matter right now."

"It doesn't, Sir?" asked the captain with a confused look on his face.

"No it doesn't, because you see, I have a new plan."

Later that same day.

"So you all know the plan!"

"Yes, Sir" replied the crew.

"Good then operation Capture the Avatar Version 17 is a go!"
