Meanwhile, Arthur and D.W. were in the kitchen at the Read family's house. D.W. was looking right at Jane who was cleaning the filthy dishes.
D.W.: "Mom, Arthur's playing jokes and pranks on me and Kate again."
Arthur: "Oh no, not again!"
Arthur finally knew he was in super big trouble right now.
Jane: "Arthur Timothy Read, go to your bedroom or go outside and stop bothering your younger sisters."
Arthur walked around right outside the front yard.
Arthur saw a monarch butterfly that was flying right around him.
Arthur: "Hi there, little butterfly friend, I was bored stiff, but the colorful great outdoors have already got me active and running wild again."
The monarch butterfly began flying away.
Arthur: "Be free at last, little butterfly friend, be free at last."
Then suddenly Arthur heard Jane and David speaking to 1 another from the open kitchen window.
Jane (from inside their house): "He just won't stop playing jokes and pranks on D.W. and Kate, David, I don't know what to do with that boy any longer."
David (from inside their house): "Well, Jane, you can have him spend the entire night at Grandma Thora's house."
Jane (from inside their house): "Have him spend the entire night at Grandma Thora's house? hey, that's not a bad idea, that way, we'll be outta his jokes and pranks for good."
Arthur was still playing fetch with Pal outside 'til Jane called him to come right inside and pack his most favorite things.
Jane: "Arthur, you're spending the entire night at Grandma Thora's house, come right inside and pack your most favorite things, please."
Arthur: "Yes, Mom and Dad, I'll get right to it."
Arthur went right back inside, packed his most favorite things and headed right to Grandma Thora's house which wasn't too far away from their own house.
