A/N: I was thinking about Daughter of Evil when I wrote this, it seems like a slightly more yandere version of it, doesn't it?
"Love: the neurochemical cocktail of insanity"
Saying he loved her wouldn't do the matter any justice. It was a painfully bold understatement. He'd do anything, absolutely anything, just for a single glance from her. In fact, he'd just about already done everything. But did he receive an appreciative hug or a heartfelt thank you note? Not even a mere glance.
She seemed to not know he existed until she wanted something only he would be crazy enough to give her. It was painfully obvious to him Rin was more interested in a boy of teal she'd seem only months before opposed to him, a friend she'd met before they could even form semi-complex sentences. Did he mind that this new boy was stealing the girl he'd loved for years? Of course. But did he intend to be so deeply in love enough to ruin the innocent boy's life over some girl? Definitely.
He'd had enough of Rin's games. Rin wasn't very good with other's emotions and often manipulated them unintentionally, Len knew this. Yet he also knew she was very witty and would do anything to get what she wanted, it was something they had in common. She wasn't the type to harm her reputation or dirty herself in such matter though, that's what Len was for. He didn't really mind doing things for Rin, because it usually resulted in her happiness although not directly towards him. When he was younger he feared death tremendously. Shows like CSI, House, Criminal Minds, all of those sorts of things used to scare the life out of him. One of his biggest fears was to see a dead body in person at the time. It was when Rin had been hurt by a person he would forever despise that he began to not fear it so much, and actually find comfort in death.
Murder became just another part of giving Rin happiness, he didn't mind it at all anymore. It became somewhat of a way to relieve his frustration at his feeling for Rin, he'd never be able to harm her in any way, ever… unless it was for her own good.
Which brings us back to a certain teal "bastard", as Len refers him as.
It was in all honesty for Rin's own good, in his opinion. She spent so much time worrying over how she looked and acted because of the boy, he'd probably drive her to insanity… or heartbreak. That was now Len's worse fear. For Rin to feel heartbroken. Len vowed he'd destroy anyone who messed with "his" Rin's heart, no matter who it was. So may as well rid of Mikuo before he hurts her, right? And so he did. So here he sat, in first period as Mikuo's fangirls frantically chattered over if he had gotten the flu for a whole month or if he'd just moved, completely ignoring the only one in the room with a valid answer. People usually were funny that way.
But sometimes Len questioned if there was something seriously wrong with him, if it's not right to do so much evil for a single girl that barely knew he existed. One glance at the happy blonde girl a few rows in front of him, giggling about a few rumors she'd heard with a friend of hers, had reassured him. It told him that yes, everything he's done were absolutely, perfectly normal when such perfection was involved.
A/N: I'm insane for writing this, yes.
