SORROW..
When Gil opened his eyes one word popped into his head...
Oz...
Where was Oz...?
Was he coming back..?
No, Gilbert knew the answer to that...of course he wasnt coming back, Gil had been lucky once, but twice...Impossible, He had failed to protect he master like he promised so many time times over and over again..
Gilbert rolled out bed, The feeling of hollowness was to painfull...and so were the memeories of Oz...
He walked over to the window and looked out into the murky rain... he hated the rain... It seemed to wash away those reamaining memories and feelings.
Of Course he missed Alice to, but... His master had always been there for him, always there to cheer him up when he was feeling down, always there to praise him when he returned from his mission succesfull...
But she had taken that away from him...forever.
Gil closed his eyes and remebred the last thing Oz had said to him while he was being dragged into the abyss...
He had said..
"Gil... I - I Dont want to GO!" Then...He was gone.
Gilbert couldnt hold it back anymore and collapsed onto the floor, tears pouring down his face, he felt as if his head was overflowing with emotions, so he screamed, swore, shouted, did anything that he thought would ease the pain.
But it wouldnt bring Oz back...
Not ever...
Without Oz, He couldnt survive...
Gilbert stood up and walked over to his jacket, hung on the back of his chair, he then reached into one of the pockets, when he realized what he was looking for wasnt there he found something else instead. he pulled his hand out and unclenched his fist, In his palm was the remains of a broken butterfly made out of paper... The one Oz had made for him... Gil clenched his fist again and held back tears...he had to be strong for Oz, but in his own way...
Then he reached into his other pocket, and found what he was looking for, the metal was cold in the grip of his sweaty hand, He stared at his gun for what seemed like forever...
Until finally he clicked the lever into place, and slowly bringing it upwards...
"Please...Please forgive me master...for being so weak..." He whispred to the silence.
Throughout the mansion, the sound of a gun echoed against the walls...
