All Made Up
Written for Gajevy week with the prompt 'Lipstick.'
Levy hadn't wanted to put it on and now she was completely embarrassed with herself. Lucy had invited her over and for a while they'd talked about things until she came up with the brilliant idea that Levy should try on some of her cosmetics. She'd managed to avoid putting on eye shadow, and mascara and nearly every other thing Lucy had tried to put on her except the lipstick. She'd been forced to have a light pink colour with dark pink undertones plastered onto her lips and the worst part is it was magic so she couldn't even get it off for another two hours! It at least was applied perfectly but it just felt so uncomfortable on her.
Well she wasn't going to let it beat her so she headed for the guild, besides maybe somebody there could help her.

So after getting some (more) uncomfortable attention from Jet and Droy, and making her way through the aftermath of another guild brawl to the bar to talk to Mira, Levy finally was able to get onto a bar stool. She was leaning over the table top, supporting herself purely by her elbows. She hadn't realized that she'd sat next to Gajeel or that she was being stared at intensely by said Iron Dragon Slayer.
"Hey Mira?" The barmaid turned to her with a dish she was cleaning in hand.
"Yes what is it Levy?"
"Lucy forced wearing lipstick on me and I can't get it off. Do you have any ideas that would help?"
"Aww but I think the colour looks good on you." Levy shivered, she knew that expression on Mira's face all too well. It was a 'yeah I know I'm evil but I don't care because matchmaking is fun' look.
"It just feels really weird; I'm not used to wearing stuff like this." Mirajane still offered no help and Levy slid off her stool and out of the guild, heading towards the library.

"Dammit." Gajeel didn't much care if the she demon heard him; the image was stuck in his head now. Levy pouting and her pink lips standing out and just begging to be kissed. If she really wanted it gone Gajeel himself would be more than happy to help with taking it off.
"Is something wrong Gajeel?" He growled lowly at the sickly sweet tone the barmaid was using. She knew damn well, the scent of Lucy was all over her and Levy had been complaining that the bunny girl had forced the make up on her. He'd bet all the iron in his scrap heap of a home that they were plotting something to get him and Levy together, too bad he was going to have to disappoint them.
He ran out of the guild after Levy, feeling the anticipating stare of the demon on his back.

"Hey shorty!" She turned around to face the Iron Dragon Slayer as he was calling out after her and stopped. "You want that lipstick off right? I think I can help with that." He was smirking, oh man did she love that smirk. She almost wasn't surprised when he swooped down and kissed her.
When he pulled away he looked back around a corner they'd come past and called out to Mira and Lucy, the two women promptly stepped out of the shadows not looking the least bit ashamed.
"You can't be going around matchmaking if we're already a couple. Gihi."
This is so bad, I swear I had a better idea but I'm only half awake. I'll do my original plan another time, k?
