Darkness and light

Our paths seem to constantly cross… yet they never seem to meet.

A little girl dressed in the finest of silk… Such a wonderfully beautiful child she is.

Eyes as bright as the sun, though they're that of a milk chocolate color;

Her hair like her clothes, a fine silk, one of a glamorous chocolate brown as well.

She is wealthy and raised in a very powerful magic family.

This young girl is destined to be great…

Perhaps the greatest… with the right upbringing.

A small child dressed in a dirty, worn hakama along with the yukata in a pair.

Though she looks sullied, she has potential.

Her raven-black hair is finely kept up to the side with a hair band.

Her eyes have no light in them though,

They are a dark hopeless grey.

She is a poor orphan, lucky to be taken in by a prestigious swords school…

The leader is a very kind woman indeed.

Her family line is what keeps her lower than low.

Conceived from a demon and human; she is not wanted by either side.

The demons truly hate her because of her taboo…

Her white wings…

These two children are like day and night in so many different ways…

It's too scary to be a coincidence.

So why haven't these children met if opposites attract so easily?

As it was said these two children are like day and night,

Always connected and crossing each other in a continuous path,

Yet day and night can never meet…

That is their curse.

Their curse, however, has a slight flaw…

Just like every rule in the universe, this rule of night and day never meeting can be broken.

This rule breaker is called an eclipse.

The eclipse is the one part in time when both day and night meet,

But someone has to make this eclipse…

A rotation of their world.

This rotation is a heavy attack on a few years later from where we began.

A large group of demons decided to try and destroy the young Konoe's mansion

As well as her fathers magic association.

The shimei, the prestigious swords school came to help the leader of the association,

An old comrade in arms.

And waged war against the demon clan. The young swords girl was ordered to protect her

The princess of the association thus setting the eclipse in motion.

"Konoka-ojousama, are you unharmed?" the swords girl asked, furthering the eclipse.

"yes I'm fine… who are you?" the young princess asked.

"Sakurazaki Setsuna, at your service" the samurai said, her dull eyes pierced into the others chocolate brown.

Konoka nodded, therefore completeing the covering the covering of the sun

And meeting night with day.

As the battle waged on the eclipse decided to start it's finale and began to melt away.

"Secchan! We'll see each other again, right?"

The young princess shouted to the receding back of her once protector

The samurai girl turned her head and said with a grin:

"Sure, Kono-chan, you view more than one eclipse in a life time"

The paths of the fated may cross and cross; never seeming to connect but remember there are always

Eclipses.
