"You and James need a song." Mary said one day peering over the latest issue of witch weekly.

"A what?"

"You know, a cute song that describes your relationship." The blonde replied, "It's all in this article." Mary flipped the magazine around to give Lily a clear view of the piece she was talking about.

"That's idiotic." Lily rolled her eyes, Mary only shrugged.

"If you say so."

But it left Lily wondering. Did they need a song? They didn't exactly get together like regular couples. Did they need some semblance of normalcy in their relationship?

This is so idiotic. Why am I rethinking my entire relationship because of a witch weekly article. I don't even read that rubbish!

Even still, it was all she thought about. She couldn't fall asleep because her mind swam with lyrics to Beatles songs and chorus's that she couldn't even identify.

"You alright, lovely?" James asked one morning during potions.

"I'm grand." Lily turned her attention back to her boiling cauldron. It was a welcome distraction from that silly song conundrum.

James clearly didn't believe her because he was staring at her, not paying any mind to his potion.

"James!" Lily squealed as his potion exploded in a cloud of steam, singing his eyebrows.

"Mr. Black, accompany Mr. Potter to the infirmary wing."

"Professor, may I go as well?" Lily asked holding up a vile of her perfectly done potion.

"You may, Ms. Evans."

Lily followed Sirius and James to the infirmary, while Sirius made continuous jokes about his lack of eyebrows.

"I'm sorry Mr. Potter, I've run out of hair growing potion. I'll have Professor Slughorn whip up a batch and it'll be ready by tonight."

"It's alright, Prongs, I think you look better without eyebrows anyway." Sirius said. "Yours were too bushy."

"Shut up, Padfoot."

"I have to run, I've got a date. I think you'll be ok with Evans." Sirius said with a wave.

"What's wrong, Lils." He clearly knew she was about to deny it because he said, "I see it, in your eyes."

"I-" She looked down. "It's just something Mary said." Lily blushed, realizing how stupid it was.

"And what did Mary say?"

"Well, it's not Mary, it was witch weekly." James pulled a face. "It just said that we should have a song that, you know, describes our relationship.

"Why do we need one?"

"I mean, we don't..." She wound a strand of hair around her pointer finger. "It's just that...I don't know, I wanted a relationship that has some level of normalcy to it."

"We'll never be normal Evans." He told her. "We just need to be us." James grinned his crooked smile. "That's the kind of love they should write about in muggle books."

He pulled her closer. "They should write about us."

She giggled. "Maybe," He looked at her quizzically. "But it would make for a more romantic story if you had eyebrows."
