The Servant of Lord Voldemort
Ever since Lucius Malfoy had been at Hogwarts, he longed to go to the Zeldecot Academy of the Dark Arts. But he had been stuck at stinky old Hogwarts. He had been put in the house, Slytherin that has turned out more Dark witches and wizards than any other house. That was about the only thing he was proud of.
He never tried hard to succeed in class; he was always daydreaming of the Dark Arts he would explore when he was older. It was astonishing how well his marks were in Potions, but the teacher was quite fond of him.
When Lucius was in his seventh year, he met a beautiful girl from Zeldecot at the Yule Ball. After they both graduated, they were married. They became quite prosperous and moved into a big manor owned by Lucius' father. Later, they had a child. They named him Draco Ostensio Malfoy.
Lucius Malfoy paced about his manor. He had just received a letter from Lord Voldemort, asking Lucius to rejoin him. Of course, Lucius had agreed immediately, wanting nothing more than to serve his old master.
Subsequently, Lord Voldemort had a load of very powerful Dark Arts items delivered to his house. Lucius fashoned a small cabinet that could only be opened with the proper charm and with his wand only. He had hid it under the drawing room floor.
But someone had suspected him and was sending the Ministry to come and raid to look for Dark Items. Someone had started a rumour that Lucius was still involved in the Dark Arts, and Lucius wanted nothing more than to curse that person.
Now his son was turning eleven today. To celebrate, they were taking Draco to a beach house in Marjorca. "All ready to Apparate?" his wife called.
"Get the Floo Powder for Draco," he yelled back.
He then preformed a powerful Dark warding spell that would keep those meddling Ministry people away.
In a second, he found himself at the wizard resort and his wife was helping Draco out of the fireplace. The Zeldecot headmistress was staying here, so he would try to convince her to let Draco in.
An hour later, Lucius Malfoy and Draco came thundering out of the headmistress's suite. They arrived at their room and went in.
"Did you get in, dear?" she said, leadingDraco over to the table, which was literally smothered in presents.
"No." said Draco sulkily. He reached for the nearest parcel. "She said I didn't have enough Dark potential. What if they don't let me in to any Dark wizardry schools? Then I'll have to go to Hogwarts and have to be with the filthy Mud-Bloods!" he exclaimed loudly.
"This came for you, Draco," his mother said as she handed him a letter in yellowish parchment addressed in green ink.
He turned it over to see a coat of arms stamped on the back in purple wax bearing an H. "I knew it!" he cried in dismay. "Now I have to go to Hogwarts!"
