Disclaimer: I don't own The Nine Lives of Chloe King.

A/N: I decided to make this one-shot in the point of view of an assassin. I hope you like it! And I'm sorry it's so short.

Chloe was listening to music on her laptop, when she saw a shadow from the reflection on the laptop screen. I saw her locked her bedroom door and climb out her window. She climbed onto her roof and scanned the area. She didn't know who I was; but I think she could figure out. Who else would try to kill her, beside the order? I was dressed in all black, from a black skier's mask to black converse. I made sure that my bag wasn't going to fall when I ran, and that the knife wasn't going to poke me. After I made sure everything was tucked in when I ran for my life. Chloe was Mai, which means that she could run super fast. I ducked down into a dark alley, carefully avoiding the trash cans. I turned around swiftly, another Mai had joined her. I climbed on a few trash cans that were stacked next to each other, they looked like stairs. I climbed onto the roof, and ran back towards Chloe's house. Suddenly, I saw a large gap between two houses. Shit, I thought. I couldn't run back, Chloe and her friend will surely catch me if I do. I backed up a few steps and jumped. I tumbled a bit when I landed, but I was still alive. I checked, making sure that I didn't break anything, when I realized that my bag fell down the gap. Even though I lost my knife, I could still capture Chloe, the Uniter. Right now, I was on the roof of Chloe's house, once again. I turned around, and saw Chloe, along with this blonde guy that I didn't recognize. Suddenly, the blonde guy pinned me against the wall, and punched me. I fell on the ground, I think that they thought I was unconscious, but I wasn't. I could still hear their conversation.

"Alek, for the last time, this assassin guy can't be Brian! He's not part of the order!" Chloe argued with the guy, whose name I learned, was Alek.

"Well, we can find out now can't we?" A British accent replied.

"Yeah." She grinned.

He was talking about unmasking me; I wasn't going to let her. Slowly, I stood up, and started walking away from Alek and Chloe, who were arguing about who I was. I felt extremely drowsy, and then everything went black.
