A/N Hey, guys! Just wanted to let you know that since I am publishing a lot of stories, I may not come back to some stories if I feel like another is too important. I'll try to keep you posted on my page, so check there if you're wondering. Also, this takes place before the Winx come to Alfea.

End of A/N

A storm raged outside of Alfea College for Fairies. The wind blew fiercely, the thunder boomed, making the ground shake and the windows rattle. Lightning flashed across the sky, and rain flooded the quad. Many lights were on, and the shadows of young fairies were seen through the windows. In one room, the lights were brighter than the others, and many shadows could be seen.

"I have sensed dark magic in this storm. It's not natural, anyway. This lightning is just too frequent for-" Headmistress Faragonda was cut off as the lights of Alfea blacked out. Screams could be heard. "Headmistress?" A quivering voice sounded through the darkness. "Yes, Professor Palladium?" She said to the nervous elf. "Aren't Alfea's lights powered by magic?" He asked. "Yes." She replied. Light filled the room as Ms. Griselda used magic to restore the lights. Everyone looked around.

WizGiz had turned himself into a cat, so he could see in the darkness, Griselda was sitting in a chair, Faragonda was pacing the room, and Palladium was a nervous wreck, shivering and sweating. "Oh, why did this have to happen on the first day?" He asked to no one in particular. WizGiz transformed back into his normal self and walked over to the worried elf. "It's okay, Palladium." WizGiz comforted his friend. "No, it's not!" Palladium yelled, startling the leprechaun by his sudden change of character.

"My-my brother came to me in a dream last night. He told me that if I didn't bow down to him he would make me suffer. I refused, naturally. I don't bow down to anyone but God. But apparently I should have... This is all my fault." The elf buried his head in his hands, and then the tears came. He sobbed quietly, and everyone in the room looked at each other, sharing the same concerned expressions, even Griselda. "Palladium? You're not in trouble. We can fix this." Faragonda told her colleague. Palladium looked up at the other teachers, and sniffled. "Thanks. But I should warn you. Don't go after my brother."
