Kayley's POV

"Garrett, up ahead the sky." I said excitedly. "It's the end of the forbidden forest." I heard Garrett said. Smiling I wanted to go towards it but my hand was being pulled back by Garrett. I turned around to smile at him though he could not see me. "It's ok." Said Garrett smiling as he gently let go of my hand. I smiled and turned back bearing hearing him say, "I'll be right behind you." Excitement filled up my heart. Then as I moved branch, my heart soared with happiness. "Camelot"

"Garrett." I said. "It's beautiful. I wish you can see it."

I noticed a sad look on Garrett's face as he walked towards me. "I have seen it. But there is no place for me."

I frowned. "Garrett, what's wrong?" I asked gently.

"Take the Excalibur to the King. You don't have much time." He added and walked away quickly.

I looked at the sword then at Garrett. Quickly I ran toward to face him and lifted up the sword. "But we deliver the sword together." I said. "No..." said Garrett protesting. "I...I don't belong in that world." For the first time in my life, my heart was broken into pieces. I watched as he returned to the forest as the blind hermit. "But you belong in mine." I said.

Garrett's POV

"Garrett, up ahead the sky." I heard Kayley said excitedly. "It's the end of the forbidden forest." I said, still holding onto her hand as she was about to go towards it. She turned around and I felt a smile at me. "It's ok." I said as I slowly let go of her hand. "Go ahead...I'll be right behind." I said quietly. Disappointment filled my heart. I continued walking out of the forest. I could hear Kayley's excitement when she saw what Camelot looked like.

"Garrett, it's beautiful. I wish you could see it." Said Kayley.

"I have seen it." I said. "But there is no place for me." I added. Who would want to invite a blind person seen as useless person back here?

"Garrett, what's wrong?" I felt Kayley's hand on mine.

"Take the Excalibur to the King. You don't have much time." I said as I quickly passed her the sword and walked away.

Kayley stopped me. "But we'll deliver the sword together." She said trying to urge me to come with her. "No..." I said. "I... (I love you) I don't belong in that world." I said quietly as I walked past her. "Come on Ayden."

Sorry Kayley. It's best for us. I don't want my blindness to come between us. I should have told you that I love you. I walked away bearing hearing her say, "But you belong in mine."
