PROLOGUE

It was midnight. The dark was surrounding the place. The sky was gray and the moon nowhere to be seen. A young lady sitting on the ground, holding the head of her dead fiancée. A child crying in her mother's hug. A couple staring at their house while it is burning from the bottom to the top. Soldiers fighting against the enemy. Chaos was everywhere.
A young lady, 16 years old, was trying to convince her mother to let her go into the fight and help her father. She knew about weapons, her father taught her when she was still 7 years old. But her mother was against it from then and she kept going with that opinion till now. She was afraid that she is gonna get killed. What she didn't know about her daughter was the mighty spirit she had and the willing to help everyone. She was good at weapons, that was for sure but her mother never accepted it. That's why she was trying really hard to keep Emily, her daughter, next to her. But it was impossible. She wanted so badly to go help her father, to see if he was ok and still alive.
In a blink of an eye she was gone. She was already running toward the battle field, with the sword on her hand and her gaze looking everywhere to find him. Her mother screamed to come back but nothing happened. It was too late. Emily already fighting against a man. She didn't killed him just injured him. But she didn't care. She wasn't feeling bad. They attacked their village, not otherwise. And the most important there was no reason, at least they didn't know about it.
For the next five minutes she found none of the people she knew. Nor her father nor her best friend or her parents. She was feeling all alone in a place that was burning like hell. Till a young brunet lady came next to her. She was only a year older that her. "Stephanie where is he? Did you see him?" was the only thing that said to her but from her look the news where bad. Stephanie was already crying "I'm so sorry Emily, there was nothing I could do" her hand touched Emilys shoulder but she made a step back "No it's not true, you are lying! Say it, I want to hear it. SAY IT!" but she kept nodding no. "Damn you Steph…" She grabbed her from her shoulders and shook her "SAY IT!". She finally spoke "He is dead, your dad, is….I'm sorry I did everything I could" Now she was crying even more. "Where is he? Where?". Steph just pointed to the right. In a moment she let go of Steph and went to the direction she said her father was. When she saw him, for a moment she froze. She kneeled next to him and stroked his head. Tears came in her eyes and started falling down her cheeks. It's been a long time since the last time she cried. She just couldn't accept it. She looked around and it was like everything was gone. The screams, the flames, the people, everything. She closed her eyes and stayed there. Over her father's dead body, crying and whishing that everything was a dream. Everything was a nightmare and with the light of the san the village would be unharmed and her father still alive and with a smile on his face.
