Through sheer idiocy (unfortunately all my own) I lost my authors note… so let's try this again shall we?

This is my first finished request for Craz. The prompt was "How about a fic that's about Hawster going after Sharkie's feet!" I kinda cheated at the end a moved on to more fluffy kisses at the end, but I'm hoping I still managed to fulfill all your… uhh… footy needs. For details on how to request a fic of your own check out my profile.

Disclaimer – Honestly, you think I own ATOM? I barely even have enough money to buy myself a new toothbrush.

"Are you sure you're ok?" Hawk asked an unusual expression of selfless concern in his green eyes. Shark looked up from where he was sprawled on the sand.

"Yeah dude!" He said grinning, although there was a slight tightness around his eyes revealing that he was in pain. He sat up, casually brushing sand out of his wet blonde hair. Hawk crossed his arms and glared down at the teen before him.

"You're not. You're hurt." He knelt in the sand before the surfer, ignoring the wave that swirled around his knees, soaking his trousers. He pulled Shark's right foot off the sand and settled it in his lap and winced as Shark hissed in pain.

"It was just a wipe out. That's all." Shark insisted through gritted teeth as Hawk's hands began to explore his ankle and foot. Sure fingers pressed in to the sole of his foot, massaging the tenseness out of the muscles, the gritty sand scratching at Shark's skin as Hawk rubbed in small circles.

His palms brushed across Shark's ankle, applying minimal pressure so as to avoid aggravating the swelling that was already building up. He frowned as Shark barely suppressed a whimper and moved his hands away from the injury, concentrating instead on the rest of the blonde's foot.

The skin on the bottom of Shark's foot was tough from spending hours walking barefoot on the beach. Hawk ran a finger up the sole of his foot and grinned as Shark's toes curled from the tickling sensation. He looked up and his eyes met the other teen's blue ones.

Hawk lifted Shark's foot out of his lap and placed it carefully on the sand. Then he leaned forwards, placing one hand on the floor to steady himself and cupped the back of the blonde surfer's head with his other. Their kiss was tender, Hawk seeming to take extra care as though Shark was fragile and might break if he got too passionate. His tongue darted out to brush across Shark's lips. He tasted of salt and the sea.

Shark closed his eyes and opened his mouth, allowing Hawk's tongue entrance. Even though his vision was slightly blurred from the close proximity Hawk kept his own eyes open. He watched as Shark's blonde eyelashes brushed against his cheek, dislodging a few grains of sand that stuck to the tanned skin as it had dried in the ocean breeze. He could feel Shark's still damp hair under his fingers, little droplets of water dripping from the strands to run across the back of his hand.

Hawk smiled into the kiss, savouring the moment and then pulled away. Shark frowned up at him, slightly breathless. "We should probably get back to the others." Hawk explained. Shark pouted. "We can't stay here and make out, they'd come looking for us."

The surfer shrugged as if this didn't sound like a bad idea. "Fine." He sighed and held out a hand so Hawk could help him to his feet. Hawk slung Shark's arm over his shoulder and wrapped his own around the surfer's waist, pulling him close.

The two of them made their way unsteadily across the sand. To prying eyes they would look like a young man helping his injured surfer friend back up the beach. Unless you noticed the way the blonde's head was rested into the crook of the redhead's neck.
