The brothers were tired after a hunt, so was Cass even. They had gotten out of purgatory all right but now demons had a new plan and everything was crazy. So after a hunt gone well Dean dragged them to a local watering hole that he'd went to early in the hunt, 24 Wings. It was a nice place with a wide variety of characters.
The bartender was nice enough, smiling almost too jovially for his lithe frame. "He has a 1970 Plymouth GTX out back," Dean commented to his brother and the angel. "His brothers are the blonde ones working the crowd and the Hispanic looking one in the corner." Cass furrowed his brow; something seemed different about the four.
A white haired young woman at a nearby table waved the trio over. "Hey Dean." She smiled too brightly for the dark expanse of the bar. He gave her a kiss on the cheek. Sam looked at him like he was crazy.
"Hey Baby doll," he smiled and poked her shoulder, sitting down. He motioned for the other two to sit. "Guys this is Baby doll Locke. Baby doll, the giant is my brother Sam, the trench coat is our friend Castiel."
"Religious family?" she asked, smiling at Cass. "I know the feeling. My boyfriend and his brothers are all named after archangels. By the way Dean, you didn't meet one of them last time."
"I saw enough pictures and heard enough stories about the guy. Baby doll's boyfriend is the bartender."
Baby doll rolled her eyes and smiled again, "I'll go get you some drinks. Beer?"
The three nodded in agreement. When she left Dean got up, going over to one of the blondes and giving him a high five in greeting. The blonde waved over the shorter blonde who said something to make Dean laugh. Then Dean kissed him, causing the short blonde to blush, the taller blonde to laugh, and Sam and Cass's jaws to drop. Baby doll shortly came back with the beers. She smiled fondly at the pair.
"They've missed each other." Sam and Cass shot her questioning looks. "What you two really haven't figured it out? I've dropped all the hints." She smirked.
"That's Gabriel, isn't it?" Sam asked as it dawned on him. Baby doll nodded. "And you're dating an archangel…Which one?"
"Michael," she said simply, shrugging. The two gapped at her. "Raphael is in the corner. The one laughing is Lucifer."
"I never thought Michael would date…" Cass looked at his hands.
"I never thought I would date either," she smiled again.
"I never thought my brother would high five the devil." Sam said in wonder.
"He's a bad guy, sure. But he's nice to some of us. Especially after God got him and Michael out of the cage. He's grateful for what he has left. Dean got to liking him before the found out just who he was."
Sam shrugged. Cass stared at him. Cass kissed him. Baby doll giggled.
