SO I DON'T THINK THAT ANYONE HAS DONE THIS SCENE WITH TESS AND JUNE SO I SHALL DO IT!

TESS' POV

The doctors put IV's into my arm. I heard muffled voices and my vision swam. I heard hat the doctors had found a cure the sickness that I had. Good.

I saw June looking into my window and talking into an earpiece. She looked relived that I was okay.

Oh June. I didn't particularly like her. I mean, she was a good person and all but she was with Day all the time and I felt like I was losing him. He was like a brother to me, I didn't want to lose him.

Then, I heard some scuffling noises. I squinted to see who it was. I made out the people blurry outlines. They were wearing black boot and they had guns. And they were wearing Colonies colors.

I heard people speaking but I couldn't make out their words. I struggled to get myself into a sitting position. I pulled the IV's out of my arm. I pulled myself out of the bed and felt like falling.

I rested my hand on the wall for support and inched my way forward, making little progress with each step.

Then I heard more scuffling. I squinted and saw June attacking the Colonies soldiers. She was fighting two of them at the same time. There were three others. There was no way she would make it without help.

I saw my doctor inching away from the fight to lock the other doors.

I had a choice here. I could help June, and Day would be happy that she was alive but I might lose him. On the other hand, I could not help June and Day and I had no chance of drifting apart, but Day would never be happy. He loved June with all his heart.

The choice was so obvious. Come on, Tess move faster. I urged myself forward as fast a I could. I pushed open the door. June was fighting two remaining soldiers at the same time.

I gritted my teeth and pushed myself forward with all the energy that the Plague hadn't taken from me. I got to one of the fallen soldiers. He was clutching his calf and moaning in pain. I grabbed his gun and looked up. The last soldier hit June in the back of the head with his gun. She fell to the floor and swung wildly to try and knock him out.

I didn't know how to fire a gun, but I could hit the soldier in the back of the head, like he did to June. I pulled the gun back and with the remaining strength I had, I hit the soldier as hard as I could. He crumpled to the floor.

June looked up at me, surprised.

"Your welcome," I said and smiled weakly. I reached out and grabbed her hand. June swayed to the side, so I gave her my shoulder to lean on.

YEAH, I KNOW, IT WASN'T THE BEST ENDING, BUT IT WAS THE BEST I COULD THINK OF! REVIEWS PLEASE! STAY PIEFACEINGLY!
