Annie replayed the scene in her head. The scene when Finnick was reaped again. She tried to find a place in Finnick's sea green eyes and get lost in their ocean. But failed. Her mind kept playing tricks with her. She drifted off again. She knew it and Finnick knew it too. This room triggered memories from her past games and her boyfriend's as well. Now Finnick was going back for the Third Quarter Quell. He had been calling her name but his voice was distorted and she didn't reply. Lost is the word for it. She was lost.

"Annie"

She came back looked at Finnick and whispered, " Sorry"

"Annie please take care of yourself. Don't do it for me, do it for your sanity"

What sanity? The one the games took?

"Finn…"

"No don't" he said, placing a finger over her lips. "We'll see each other again. I promise. Okay?"

"Okay" she replied

She trusted Finnick. But this time, he would be facing all experienced killers. Annie wasn't scared. She was terrified. His eyes stared into hers. His hands curled into her coffee-colored hair and they kissed. He kissed her with passion, not wanting to ever leave her side. And Annie cried.

Once they pulled away, Finnick whispered into her ear "I love you" and she replied the same. She barely got to the last word when the peacekeepers came in urging her that time was up and it was time to leave her boyfriend's warmth and care. Lost. She was lost again.
