Good Morning World

Izaya POV

*yawn*

I opened one eye to take a look at the time, only to find that one of my pillows had some how ended up across the bed, onto my night stand and is now blocking my view of the alarm clock.

I craned my neck, trying to see around the plushy object.

That failed.

Plan B.

I lazily reached my arm across the bed trying to get to the pillow, but only the tip of my fingers grazed the soft fabric. I grabbed the pillow I was currently using and swung it over my head, it flew in the air and knocked over the lamp on my nightstand. I flinched an loud bang as the object hit the floor. Grrrreeeeaaaat. Now i have to pick that up too. It didn't even touch the pillow.

I scooted my body closer, but I still couldn't get a good grip, I scooted more, and more until my body was near the edge of the bed and still I couldn't reach the motherfucking pillow.

Why is my dresser so damn far?

I calculated the result of me moving closer, and decided to take the risk. I swung my body over another inch, and lost my balance, I quickly grabbed a hold of the night stand and began to teeter totter on the edge.

After many failed attempts to pull myself back onto the bed, I gave up and slithered like a snake to the floor, taking half the blankets with me.

I lay there for a while.

mine as well cherish the last minutes of sleep.

Besides ...

The floor is kind of comfortable.

After a few minutes of being lazy, I decided it was time to get up, it was obvious that my alarm wasn't going to go off anytime soon and I was already wide awake, so, why not?

I got up, throwing the blankets back onto the bed, not bothering to make the bed, it's just going to get messy again anyway.

I turned around and froze at what I saw.

That hellish pillow.

Sitting there.

Untouched.

Mocking me.

"Asshole". I commented, picking up the lamp
