The Maze

David sat up, feeling as if he had been sleeping for hours. He looked around, observing his surroundings as he stood. He took notice he was surrounded by tall shrubs. He couldn't remember where he was or why. David also noticed that he was in only jeans, with bare feet and a bare chest. "Hello?" he shouted. Behind him, he heard someone clear their throat. As David stood up and turned around, he saw Griffin shaking his head at him. Griffin looked quite normal in his dark jeans and leather jacket. His usual attire. Griffin turned, walking away. "Wait," David said as he followed Griffin down a narrow row of shrubs at a jog. They turned two corners in a row until Griffin disappeared. David wondered what the hell was going on. He pinched himself. "Ow," he grunted as he rubbed the red spot on his arm.

"David," he heard Griffin say from behind him. David turned around. Griffin was looking at David, almost longing.

"Griffin, is something wrong? And where are we?"

Griffin sneered, "Shut up David." He moved forward a step.

David looked at Griffin curiously. "But Griff-"

"I told you to shut up," Griffin cut him off and jumped in front of him. He grabbed David's face with a strong force and kissed him. Now David really didn't know what the hell was going on. He always thought Griffin despised him. He simply gave up on the thought process of what's going on and went with it. David never took Griffin to be...well like how he was acting. He felt nails dig in around his jaw line and a dull pain on his lip. He pulled away and tasted the little bit of blood forming on his lower lip. Griffin licked his lips and went back for more. David tried pushing him away at first, but oddly, he liked Griffin sucking on his lower lip. A moan escaped David as he grabbed a tight hold of the side of Griffin's jacket. Griffin pulled back, hands still on David's face, looking at him with wonder. "David."

David though he saw Griffin's face becoming foggy. "Griffin?"

"David...David."

"Griffin?" David whimpered as everything faded. He felt himself falling backwards.

"David!" he heard Griffin yell. David realized his eyes were closed. Opening them, he saw Griffin hovering over him. "Damn it David!" David sat up and smiled at Griffin. "Fuck you smilin' at?"

David ran a hand through his short hair. "Oh...nothing," he grinned.

"Right well you said my name in your sleep and if I ever hear my name like...that," he spat, "again. I'll knock your ruddy block off." Griffin turned and walked out of the room.

David kept smiling. "Deal."
