"Ohhhh Arnold!"

Based on "Keep Love In Your Heart".

A/N: Hey Lyco! Happy Birthday! Feliz cumpleanos! Joyeux Anniversaire! Happy Anniversary of Birth! You get the picture. LOL. XD

Anyways, here you go!

He couldn't help but feel a bit of giddiness run through his mind. Was it possible that this was happening? Was it possible that she really "wasn't gone"?

He wasn't sure, but, at this point in time, he was in no way about to deny the chance of talking to his beloved, at least one more time.

He sighed happily and had an extra jump to his step as he got out of bed this morning. It felt as if he were on top of the world. He was given a second chance to confess, and he knew that second chances didn't readily happen.

He whistled an unknown tune as he stepped in the shower, feeling more blissful than he had in the past 10 years.

As he got out of steaming bathroom, drying his hair with the white towel that occupied his football head. He tied another towel to his waist and kept whistling his strange tune.

He went into the kitchen after dressing and hummed peacefully to himself. It was like a dawn of a new day hit his eyelids after a never ending darkness consumed him for the past few months.

"She's not gone," he remembered Erin telling him.

As he shook his head and walked towards the fridge, he heard the toast pop up from the corner of the counter.

C-could it be? He thought as he rushed to the toaster. He hadn't set the bread in the toaster, so…was it possible?

"Helga! Helga! I can't believe its you!" Arnold said, as he hugged the toaster to his chest. "I just want to say…I love you! I love you! I always have, but, I guess I was just too dense to see it earlier…but really. I love you and need you in my life!"

"Do you and the toaster need more time alone?" said his mother from behind him.

Arnold fumbled with the machine in his hands and sheepishly smiled at his mother. A deep scarlet painted his facial features, and part of his upper neck.

"M-Mom…H-how long have you been standing t-there?" Arnold asked, trying to keep his blushing to a minimum.

"Long enough to know that if I hadn't talked, you and that toaster would be making out right now," Stella answered, as she giggled into her hand.

Arnold blushed harder, but coughed into his fist to regain some composure. He placed the toaster back on the counter and looked at his mother.

"Please don't tell dad," Arnold begged his mother.

Stella laughed a bit more. "I can't promise that."

"Why?" Arnold couldn't help but shout.

"Because dad is here too," said a deep, fatherly figure's voice.

Arnold turned and saw his father speaking from the living room couch.

Arnold looked between his parents, feeling a flush cover his entire face and neck.

"I'm never gonna live this down, am I?"

"Nope," his parents replied in unison.

Arnold sighed. The trouble I get into because of Helga.

A/N: I just wanted to thank all the reviewers of this fic. On a side note, please read "Keep Love In Your Heart" to understand what happened to Helga; since this fic is basically a spinoff of that one, the answer is in "Keep Love In Your Heart" (which is abbreviated KLIYH).

Thanks for all the warm feedback! This is the first fic I intentionally made funny, so your comments make me feel like I did a good job :)

PS Speaking of KLIYH, I AM still writing it, but may start writing from the last scene and work my way backwards. This is mostly because I feel more inspired to write the end more than the current chapter, but the current chapter will be updated (hopefully soon!) so thanks everyone for your patience :D
