A/N: So, here's a random one shot that will end up being a collection of mostly unrelated one-shots, of varying lengths. This one is dedicated to McGonagallTheQueen.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, except for the slightly eccentric behavior of one Katie Bell.
Enjoy!
Angelina Johnson sighed. Though Katie Bell, a fifth year Gryffindor, was an excellent Quidditch player and extremely loyal, a Gryffindor through and through, she was a bit... strange. Strange, as in, she enjoyed scaring the firsties by pretending to be a dark lady. She would walk around the halls cackling, planning out loud on how she would boil the first years and use their insides as potion ingredients. Never mind that she was hopeless at potions.
Now, Angelina knew that Katie wouldn't really hurt a fly, so she didn't really care what Katie did in her free time, (as long as it didn't interfere with Quidditch,) but making a group of first years cry was getting to be a bit much. Angelina wasn't a prefect, but she still had the unfortunate responsibility of looking after the younger Gryffindors. And now she would be late for potions class. Angelina sighed. Professor Snape would kill her.
She quickly patted the first year Gryffindors on the head and sent them along. She sprinted to Potions class.
"Thirty points from Gryffindor for tardiness, Miss Johnson. Do try to pay attention to the clock, however difficult it may be for you to actually use that brain of yours. That is, assuming it even exists. Detention tonight at eight with Mr. Filch." Angelina sighed.
"Yes, Professor Snape."
"KATIE BELL!" Angelina stormed over to the younger girl.
"Because of you, I'm missing Quidditch practice tonight for detention! This is Oliver's last year, and he's going crazy trying to win! 'Win, or die trying!' Now I'm missing a practice, and he'll have my head! And it's all your fault!"
Katie just rolled her eyes.
"And how exactly is that my fault?"
Angelina huffed, and stormed away. Katie shrugged and kept walking. The first years scattered once they saw her. Then she caught sight of three unsuspecting first year Hufflepuffs. As soon as they saw her, Katie grabbed one of them, a small brunette girl, and began murmuring madly.
"A perfect little specimen. Hmm, maybe... No. I'll brew this one up into a stew, and toss it's friends in as well!"
The Hufflepuffs looked at her in terror, and ran, shoving each other in their haste to get out of her sight. Katie giggled, and resumed skipping down the halls, cackling madly.
A/N: Don't worry, future one-shots will probably be more normal (and longer). Probably.
