Stay
I just always want her by my side. Her head close to my chest. Brush her orange hair with my fingers, examine her pretty face, communicate with her through her eyes. Her eyes are lovely, for me they are lovely. Her sweet smile would always calm me, her soft lips. I never want lose her. I just want to be with her forever. Never lose her from my sight. I love her so much, but I have to go…
He held her head close to his, his forehead against hers. His other hand held tight the three swords by his side. Mixed emotions could be seen in his face. His eyes were closed, and so were his lips. Not saying a word. Random thoughts entered his head. Disturbed… his mind was in the state of disturbance.
"I don't want you to go."
He was sort of awakened from his current state of mind, opened his eyes and saw tears streaming down from her eyes, her eyes that he always thought were lovely. Real sadness, he could read from her eyes. He straightened his back, held her face and wiped the tears that had flowed down through her cheeks.
"I don't want you to go."
Her words made him even more disturbed, they kept sounding inside his head. His guilt intrigued him even more. He looked down and bit his lip. There's nothing he could do. He stared back at her crying face, couldn't stand what he was seeing. He was making her cry.
He brushed her short, orange hair, looked her in the eye, and hugged her one last time.
"I have to."
His words made her burst into tears more. She wrapped her arms around him, so tight she didn't want to let go of him. He kissed the top of her head, tried to release his self from her embrace. She was really crying hard. His eyes were filled with sadness, filled with guilt, but there was nothing he could do. He placed his thumb on her lips, held her face close to his and kissed her soft lips. Kiss of goodbye…
He has to go now.
He turned around and started his walk, but she grabbed his hand.
"Why do you have to go?"
He paused for a while, looked back at her and saw her pleading face once again.
"This is my dream. No one can stop me from achieving my dream. I can't let anyone, not even you."
With the world seeming to fall on her, she slowly let loose of his hand.
They stood there for quite a while, remaining in their last positions. Then he started his walk towards the end of the ship again, this time, no turning back. He jumped from the ship and landed on a small boat waiting for him.
She was left there, standing motionless. Her mind seemed to be flying away. When she had realized he was already gone, she burst into tears again, covered her face with her palms, cried even harder.
There was nothing she could do.
