Hello everybody! I've edited this because I thought it was about goddamn time and this is one of my favorite poems that I've created. Happy reading! Leave your comments if you want to and I will happily read and answer them! ONWARDS!

Too many things I try to hide

But what I feel is deep inside

And you're the one that calls to thee

The only one that sees through me

When we were young I used to call,

You in your room across the hall.

I'm your father's ward, he is my guardian,

With you beside me I'm not forsaken.

Time has passed and so have we,

Into a new age that has come to be

Under your rule we can truly see

The real king that you were born to be

We are older a little bit wiser

But our childish dreams have yet not faltered

The once spring time that you gave rings

I gladly accepted for you were my king

A promise made by you to me

Until this day I remember thee

You said you'd love me forever and ever

I believed you, I didn't know better

I was sixteen and you a year older

In Uther's court we stood together

As friends? As foes? I wouldn't know

I can't say now the doors are closed

You played around with other girls.

They didn't care because you were cursed,

Cursed with charms and grace and poise,

To be the envy of other boys.

A little after I still remember

I became of age and to society further

Men came rushing up to line

But one of them I thought were mine

Now to the present I take you here

To see the progress throughout the years

Long long ago until now

Here we take a final bow

King and Queen we played before

But now I stand here by your door

I'm summn'd forth to come to thee

Truly stunned of what you ask of me

To be your queen is truly an honour

Just like before when we were younger

I never thought it would be like this

Our childhood dreams are not amiss

It's very near the day we wait

It is now, it is our fate

To be together now and forever

I take thee husband as lord and lover.
