Safe Haven
Kise's whole body felt heavy as he entered the apartment.
The day had been filled with three lecturer, a flight simulation, and shoots full of contorting positions and hands that were too small.
It'd left him exhausted and wanting someone to cuddle with.
Although signs of his lovers were scattered through the house – finger tape and empty snack bags on the counter and a pair of shiny silver scissors lying on the counter – he knew that all of them were gone for class or meetings.
He trudged through the apartment, pulling off his tie and jacket, and collapsed onto the bed.
The bed, he realized, smelled horrible.
Like someone had spilled every bottle of cologne in a store all over it.
He sighed, thinking that he'd have to convince one of the guys to do laundry with him tomorrow.
He let the thought lull him to sleep.
Kise woke up to a soft hand rubbing at his cheek.
"Kurokocchi?" he murmured, leaning into the touch as he peeked one eye open. His lips spread in a smile when he found Kuroko wasn't the only one there, the others all hanging behind him. "Hey guys."
"Are you feeling okay?" Kuroko questioned, his hand running up to lay across Kise's forehead. "You didn't show up for dinner."
"Ah, I was just feeling a little bit exhausted after my shoot," he answered. Kise glanced up at Aomine, "Sorry Aominecchi. You were looking forward to going to that new burger place weren't you?"
Aomine clicked his tongue. "That doesn't matter idiot. We can go tomorrow."
Akashi nodded his agreement, "You should rest, Ryōta. You've had a lot on your plate lately."
"Only if you guys lay with me."
It took a minute before they all got settled on the beds.
Atsushi laid on the outside, his arms wrapping around Midorima and one of the shooters legs tangled with Kise's. Akashi laid on Kise's otherside with Kuroko and Aomine, and there wasn't a doubt in the blonde's mind that he'd wake up later with Aomine sprawled over them all spread eagle.
"Your cologne stinks," Kise murmured against Midorima's throat.
"Oh shut up," Midorima answered.
Kise laughed, burrowing farther against him.
Their sheets would have smelled much better if they didn't all wear so much cologne, but Kise still found the bed to be the most comforting place in the house.
E/n: I wanted to write something for the season two premiere and this is what I ended up with.
I've never smelled a cologne or perfume that didn't make me want to gag so having six guys in one bad has got to make the bed stink.
