Nevereverland
(No Disclaimer-because really, what are they good for?)
It's never pretty and it always hurts.
When the bodies hit the ground with a thud and when there's nothing you can do. Littered on the one beautiful grounds lie those you love or know. Seeing them lifeless with dull eyes and an air of death.
Was it really worth it? I don't know. But what I do know is that out there, somewhere, there is life. There, the despair isn't seen but filled with happiness. This isn't the end. No, it's far from it.
It doesn't take away the pain or even the guilt and it isn't supposed to. But when the dead have been buried and laid to rest, that is when you move forward. I just know that somewhere out there, there's something or someone waiting. When I find what's out there I'll welcome it with open arms.
But for now, I'll keep you in my shaking arms and weep. Weep for what I've lost. For what I may never have.
These tears and blood shed aren't what any of us wanted but in a way it was needed.
What has been left is small and seemingly insignificant will become stronger. Perhaps not at the moment, but when we have gained our bearings we will stand tall. The memories of you will forever remain in our hearts even when our minds can no longer recall them.
In this nevereverland, I'll smile and it'll be real. The glistening tears from my eyes will be from the future created. Both soft and boisterous laughs bursting forth my lips will be from joy.
Soon I'll be letting go of you. I just need you to know one last thing before I leave: I love you.
It finally begins.
Right, well this hasn't been beta'd or looked over. I'm sorry if it doesn't make any sense this was just something I typed down just now. Anyways, I'd like to know what you think, so kindly leave a review.
