Shallow

She wasn't ugly. She wasn't exactly beautiful either.

She was just...average.

And that was the thing she despised most about herself.

That and her nose, of course. It had sparked nicknames such as "Pug-nosed Parkinson", and she had once seriously considered using magic to change its shape, no matter the risk.

There were so many things she would change about herself if she could, actually. Her limp blonde hair, her watery blue eyes. Her five foot frame.

Pansy knew it was selfish. Irrational, even, and downright impossible.

But so what? She had never pretended that she wasn't shallow.
