"I wanna hold you
I wanna kiss you
You were my everything
And I really miss you"

He stared at her. It was all slow motion. The way she got hit. How her athletic figure flew. How the gasp emitted from her bloody lips. How he noticed the whole blade of the sword buried in her chest. Her gorgeous stormy gray eyes were slowly glazing over.

She was hurt and dying. And he could do nothing, but stare. Her body convulsed as she coughed up blood. Her blonde hair was matted against her forehead. Her tan skin was pale. Like she was a ghost, instead of the happy amazing girl she once was.

He watched as another demigod was thrown across the forest. That one hit a tree. They weren't getting the fate she was. He was breaking underneath the surface. And he charged, stabbing the monster. Returning the repulsive creature to the depths of Hell.

His eyes swept around before finding her again. And everyone stared as her eyes coated over with a glaze. She was dead. A trickle of blood dripped from the side of her mouth. And he fell. Sobbing. His heart was crumbling. They'd promised to come out of it alive. And she hadn't but he had.

"NO!" he wailed.

A girl put a hand on his shoulder, whispering words in his ear. "She'll go to the Fields of Elysium."

"She didn't deserve to die."

"I know. But the Fates are bitches. And she'll probably be glad that her fate is out of their hands."

"I miss her so much."

"Hold her one more time."

And he did just that. Trying his best to keep up his facade.

Though he knew everyone could see through the brave front.

Once, she was in his arms, did he really let loose of all the despair, anger, and love that was pent up.

He screamed and screamed. It was horrible. A torturous sound. One that should never be heard again.

They'd been chasing a monster. This one was killing any demigod that came close. They had vowed that they'd come out of it alive. Both of them. But that had all gone wrong in such a short amount of time.

They visit her grave together. All of them; Jason, Piper, Leo, Calypso, Thalia, Nico, Reyna, Chiron, Grover, Juniper, and Coach Hedge. Along with someone who carries a burden. Percy. He had gotten married after she died. He had finally realized she wasn't coming back and knew he had to let go. No matter how much he loved her, he knew she'd want him to move on. And he did. For her.

The group stared at the headstone. It was nothing like her. The amazing, wonderful girl. The one that stole his heart from the start. He cleared his throat. They'd visited her numerous times after her passing.

"I'd like you to meet my daughters," said Percy. "Jhaylah and Lauryn. They are so adorable. And I miss you. You would've loved them. I used to think that we'd get married and have kids of our own, but that was short lived after you died."

The ground shook abruptly. Percy stepped back hastily. Everyone watched as two ghosts materialized. It was Bianca and her. Bianca greeted them with a smile. The other one just looked around, eyes darting around nervously. Nico cleared his throat.

"Sis. What are you doing here?"

"I came to accompany her. She wanted someone she could trust. Zoe couldn't do it and Luke isn't very trustworthy." Bianca whispered softly. "This is her first time. Go easy."

Nico nodded and Piper stared at her, tears pricking the back of her eyes.

"Can she come back?"

"No. The Fates have chosen her destiny and Hades does not wish for us to disobey that. It could complicate things."

The next few minutes were spent talking to her. Finally they disappeared. Rachel kissed Percy softly, reassuring him that everything was gonna be okay. And they glanced longingly at the headstone at the top of the grave.
