I love it!

Hearing Hardison explain why he had made Parker2000, the automated safe cracking device for her, Parker felt a bit silly. She should never have doubted him, he hadn't wanted to replace her, the way he'd said those words had made her realize that, but she should have seen it before, Hardison cared for her and he showed it every day in his actions.

"I love it," Parker said, picking up Parker2000 with a smile. As if she could hate anything that Hardison gave her. As Parker told Hardison that she loved her gift, she realized that she actually did. She loved that he had been thoughtful enough to get her something that she could really use and in her favourite colour too.

"I'm going to call him Hardy," she said.

"No way, the name's Parker2000," Hardison said. "It says so right here," pointing at the label.

Parker entered the office through the window on the thirty-second floor.

"Girl, you better get in already," Hardison said in her ear, "we have only three minutes."

"I know," Parker replied. "I'll be out in a jiff."

Hardison sat in Lucille and watched Parker go the desk and open it, she got the file, photographed every page and sent it to him. Then she stood in front of the surveillance camera and said to him, "I still have two minutes and fifteen seconds remaining."

She went to the window and climbed out.

"Parker, are you carrying a backpack?" Hardison asked her.

"Of course," she replied flippantly.

"Why?"

"I couldn't very well leave Hardy alone at home by himself, could I?"

"What?" Hardison couldn't believe it.

"I don't want him to get lonely, so I'm taking him everywhere with me."
