It was his last day in highschool and he thinks nothing of it. His plans were to go get his year book, communicate with his close friends alittle and leave. He followed through with his plans, and everything was going well, until, he went to work.
He thought he was fine besides the fact that he was nervous about his upcoming presentation. He and some fellow co-workers are taken to a room to practice for their presentation before it starts. As he gets ready to stand up behind the podium to practice his lines, he starts to mentally breakdown.
He starts to remember that one of his close friends had told him that she might never see him again, he woke up to that information. He then thinks about the fact that this was his last day at work and starts reminiscing about the time he was a childcare aid and all the kids cried that he wasn't going to see them anymore, that hurt him alot.
So now he is standing behind the podium and then starts to remind himself that today was his last day at school and his whole life is about to change in a few weeks. As he tries to say his lines, he trips up his words and his nervousness intensifies. He slowly loses his mind until he starts to embrace everything that is going on around him.
As he embraces his feelings and circumstances, he starts to cope with himself while grabbing all the pieces of his blown mind and puts them back together one by one. The presentation starts and he is able to say his lines correctly and moves on until work is finally over.
He is now on his way home and is listening to music, he thinks about his friend who writes stories, who is very good at it, and starts to write a story about a boy who comes to embrace the changes he will soon be going through in his life.
The story ends when he looks up and realizes that he is wasting time.
Time to send some goodbye messages and make some last calls...
