My first bleach-fanfiction. This takes place after Hitsygaya's group came back from Real World.

I walked fast. People made way to me and bowed to me when I passed them.
- Good day, Captain Hitsugaya", they said.
- Yeah", I said shortly. I was in hurry. I opened the door that said "4th unit" and stepped in.
- Ah, welcome, Captain Hitsugaya", said man behind reception table. -How can I help you?
- I'm looking for Captain Unohana, I said.
- Yes, she's right there... man stood and was about to go "there" but stopped. I turned and saw woman with white jacket on her black shinigami-suit. She had long black hair tied on ponytail before her.
- Oh, you're here already, Unohana said to me.
- I came fast as I could, I said. Unohana smiled.
- Follow me, please.
We walked through the room to the hallway.
- Well, how is she? I asked.
- As I said in my letter, she woke up sometime ago, Unohana said. – I thought that you would like to see her first.
I looked to floor. I wanted, that's for sure, and she's my best friend. But I felt bit guilty. I couldn't protect her as I had promised. I couldn't protect her from that Aizen-bastard… from her own captain.
- We are here, captain Hitsugaya, I heard Unohana calling me. I raised my head. Unohana opened the door in front us.
There she sat, on the bed, looking sad. Her hair was down from usual bun.
-I'll leave you two alone, Unohana said and closed the door.
It was silent for a while. I didn't know what to say.
- Hinamori… I started, but no other word came out. I bit my lower lip. Come on, you're called a kid prodigy! It's not that you can't think something to say to HER.
But before I could even open my mouth, Hinamori spoke:
- I'm sorry, she said so softly that I wasn't able to hear clearly. She raised her head and our eyes met. Her face was wet because of tears. She still had those bags under her eyes, even thought they weren't so big as last time he saw her.
- I'm sorry, Hitsugaya-kun.
I looked at her in surprise.
- W-what are you apologizing? And I have said for a hundred times to call me "Captain", not "-kun"! I said.
- I'm apologizing for last time… last we spoke… when you were at real world, Hinamori said as she hadn't heard my latter sentence. – For the things I said about… about Aizen.
I was even more surprised now. "Aizen", not "Captain Aizen".
- You don't need to apologize for that, I sad, and stepped one step closer. – Aizen's the one who should apologize! And Ichimaru! They tricked us all.
Hinamori smiled bit. – Thank you, Hitsugaya-kun. But… I blamed you. And attacked you. I believed that Aizen was right and you were the enemy… But I was wrong… He lied. I thought he'd never lie to me. I'm so sorry!
I smiled and put my hand on her shoulder.
- It's okay, Hinamori. It's okay now. I'm not angry. I'd probably have done the same thing if I was you.
- Hitsugaya-kun… Hinamori said, and suddenly jumped to hug me.
- Wha-? Hinamori?
- Thank you. You always know how to make me feel better. Thank you, Shiro-chan, Hinamori whispered.
I stood still, listening her. My face was burning. Then I smiled.
- That's what friends are for, I sad as I warped my arms around her.
