Renee and Lana were talking backstage about possibly meeting up on the weekend coming up. The rumble had just subsided and they would be near Tennessee, where Lana lived with her husband, Rusev.

"C'mon! I need a girls night out!" Lana begged as she stood in front of a crate.

"Did Nikki and Maryse already agree?" Renee asked, sitting on one of the tables that were always set up backstage.

"Maryse and Mike are totally down but Nikki is trying to convince John." Lana lowered her voice to a whisper. "But in all honesty, I doubt he'll come." The jab sparked a laugh from Renee.

"Well I don't think I'll have any luck getting my Jon to agree either." She admitted. Lana pouted in response.

Their conversation was cut short when a certain lunatic passed by with the usual high energy he had before a match. Not minding Lana, who had stepped aside, Jon– in a state that fit more with his Dean Ambrose persona– spontaneously stood in front of his girlfriend. Appreciating her short black dress with his eyes, He leaned his hands, palms resting on the table, on either sides of Renee. Despite being with him for over 3 years, she was still surprised by his sudden actions and jumped up slightly. He smirked at her reaction and leaned his forehead on her's.

"Hey, baby girl."

"Someone has a little too much energy, don't they?" Renee smiled as she took note of Jon's fidgeting and inability to stand straight.

"Why don't we put it to good use?" He responded in a low voice, kissing her softly.

"Okay. That's enough. I'm going." Lana began to walk away. "But Renee don't forget to ask. You've gotta come."

"Thank god she finally left." Jon mumbled before he kissed Renee again, hoping to deepen it as his hands began to roam up to her waist.

"Jon." Renee said with a giggle, pulling away from his lips and resting her hands on his chest. He still tried to chase her lips with no avail. "You know we can't do anything here."

"Oh please. You say it like no one does anything here. I mean, just the other day, I passed by the trainer room and I'm sure that Maryse had Mike the Mizo about to jiz—"

"Jon!" Renee pushed his chest lightly. "First of all, I don't need to know what they were doing. And second of all, you can't change my mind."

He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Fine, fine. I won't try anything. But only because you're cute." He pecked her red lips. "By the way, what do you have to ask who?"

"What?"

"What was Lana talking about just now?"

"Oh. Good thing you brought that up." Jon was now holding Renee's hand, fidgeting with her bracelets. "Lana invited us to her house for the weekend."

"Just us?"

"She also invited Nikki and John but Nikki is still trying to get him to come. And, Maryse and Mike are coming too"

"You know I'm more of a stay-home-kinda-guy but...I guess...if Mike and Maryse aren't in the room next to us, I'll go."

"Shut up!" Despite trying to stay serious, Renee ultimately let out a giggle. "Wait, but are you sure? I don't want to make you feel like I'm forcing you."

"Nah, you're not forcing me. I want to come. Anything that makes you happy makes me happy."

"Are you still trying to get in my pants? Or, are you just spending too much time with Daniel?"

"Probably the latter but I won't deny the former either." Jon admitted with a smirk making its way back onto his face. She knew it wasn't that easy to get him to drop the idea of getting intimate at work but she stood her ground.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, Renee pulled Jon closer. Her lips barely touching his ear, she whispered, "I think we can wait until we get to the hotel...when we can relax...with no interruption...maybe take a bath..."

"God, you're going to give me blue balls before a match." He kissed her softly and felt her smile underneath his lips. He couldn't help but love this angel he held close to his body.
